Give nothing of yourself to hook on to. Release the cult-like mentality which insists it "is" a certain way or there's simply no good in this world. Stop putting yourself at the disposal of forces which keep on consuming you. Examine how the worst things in this reality always stop naturally of their own accord. Realise that especially self-destruction ends, because in the end there's nothing left to carry on.
