How do we know the difference between truly and directly absorbing pure love and just kidding ourselves? The truth is we don't know at the beginning and we have to weather the uncertainty. There are certain similarities we can say might be similar to everyone at later stages, but the form will be unique to us. After all, it is our source connection and nobody else's - that's the whole point. Essentially we are developing a relationship with that loving presence. It's uncertain and it's unknown. This is not something external to us and it is like building a relationship. Once we grow stronger in this, we realise this is exactly the same building block that underlies all good human interactions whether this is with people we know or not. Essentially, we are able to remain anchored in ourselves whatever is happening: the good, the bad and ugly. And we realise that this is why all of life is like a marriage, because there is a much greater depth at which we are communing with everyone.
